In the heart of Finnskogen, you’ll find the Norwegian Forest Finnish Museum – a unique meeting point of nature, cultural history, architecture, and identity. The museum tells the story of the Forest Finns who migrated from Finland in the 1600s to build a new life in the Norwegian border forests. Who were these people? Why did they settle in Finnskogen?
