Finnskogtoppen is located in the heart of Finnskogen, approximately two hours from Oslo. Whether you arrive by train, shuttle bus, taxi or car, getting here is easier than many guests expect.

Shuttle Bus

We offer pick-up and drop-off service from Kongsvinger Station on selected Sundays and Fridays.

Please remember to reserve transportation when booking your stay. The shuttle dates are coordinated with our most popular package, the Wellness Package (5 nights).

NOK 350 per person, one way.

Due to allergies, pets are not permitted on the bus.

Train from Oslo Central Station at 1:04 PM, arriving in Kongsvinger at 2:22 PM.

Our shuttle bus departs from Kongsvinger Station at 2:30 PM and takes you directly to Finnskogtoppen. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes.

The shuttle bus departs from Finnskogtoppen at 1:30 PM and arrives at Kongsvinger Station in time for the train departing to Oslo Central Station at 2:39 PM.

Taxi

On days when we do not offer transportation, we recommend Glåmdalen Taxi.

Bookings must be made directly with the taxi company at least 36 hours in advance.

Fixed rates for guests travelling to and from Finnskogtoppen:

Monday–Friday, 06:00–18:00 – NOK 1,065
Evenings and weekends – NOK 1,290

Rates apply per vehicle, one way, for 1–3 passengers.

By Car

Finnskogtoppen is approximately a two-hour drive from Oslo.

From Oslo

Turn right at the sign for Finnskogtoppen
Follow the E6 north towards Kløfta
At Kløfta, turn onto the E16 towards Kongsvinger
In Kongsvinger, follow National Road 20 towards Elverum for approximately 9 km to Roverud
Turn right onto Roads 205/202 towards Svullrya
Continue through Svullrya on Road 201 for approximately 12 km

Follow National Road 20 to Kirkenær Continue on Road 201 towards Svullrya Follow the signs to Finnskogtoppen
